Summer kicked off in style on June 6th & 7th, as Main Street Unionville transformed into a two-day celebration of everything that makes this community special! From the moment the parade stepped off, you could feel the energy — locals and visitors lining the streets, ready for a weekend to remember.

Talented artists performed all along the street, turning every corner into a stage, while the historic Millennium Bandstand came alive with music that had the whole crowd swaying. Add in incredible food, refreshing drinks, and a lineup of activities for all ages, and you’ve got the perfect recipe for a weekend of pure summer joy.

Parades, performances, and plates full of good food — the Unionville Festival proved once again why it’s Markham’s favourite way to welcome summer. A huge thank you to the artists, vendors, volunteers, and every single person who came out to make it unforgettable!
