Music on the Streets is a vibrant community initiative and citywide celebration of creativity, connection, and culture. Since its launch in 2020 on Main Street Unionville, the program has brought live music performances to public spaces across Markham—transforming everyday locations into dynamic stages.
By showcasing local musicians in outdoor settings, Music on the Streets creates an engaging and lively atmosphere that unites communities and brings together people with a shared love for music. The initiative supports emerging and established artists, enriches the city’s cultural fabric, and strengthens social bonds among residents and visitors alike.
