Meet the Filmmakers

Luc Aprile

Luc Aprile is a Markham-based photographer and film-maker. A long-time York Region resident, Luc took up photography at the age of 15. He has worked professionally doing corporate and portrait photography and also enjoys landscape and event photography.  

Luc has also recently produced a number of short-format productions aimed at highlighting local historical sites in York Region as well as capturing performances from local artists. 

Stefano Ruccia

Stefano Ruccia is a Newmarket-based journalist and content creator. A life-long York Region resident, Stefano has worked professionally in magazine writing, multimedia digital reporting and content creation, as well as radio broadcasting. 

Stefano has recently worked on documentary productions to showcase York Region municipalities and what to do locally in a post-pandemic world.
